My Nanny’S Collections and Dressers, by Holly Hogge

My nanny likes to collect little shoes, these shoes are only about 5 inches or shorter. She has a pair of white shoes with a red rose and gold lines, there her favourite. She also has a pair of orange shoes with black spots and a black and gold strap she has a pair just like them but with purple, black and orange strips and a gold and black strap. My favorite pairs of my nanny’s shoes are the little polka dot ones the really small Chinese decorated ones. My nanny also collects glasses. She has loads of wine and decorated glasses. She has 3 big presses full of them and a big shelf of them and holy stuff. She also likes painting as she has 3 beautiful paintings that she painted herself. She also has a lovely teapot that she got in china. My nanny and mom also love buddies as they have loads of them.

My Purse by Tara Carew

I got a purse at Christmas from my uncle. When I opened it there was 2 euro inside I was wondering why so my mam told me that in Ireland when you give someone a purse you should always put some money in it. I asked my mam why and she said that its good luck. I was confused so I asked my uncle why he did it he said it was because it was Irish culture.

Spices of Pakistan by Fawad Syed

Pakistan is a country that has lots of spices nearly every dish has a rich spice in it. Some of the spices or really chili but for me it’s like I can’t even feel it because I’m so use to it. In Pakistan we get the salt from the caves and take a long time to fill up the bag. When I went to Pakistan I had to go to a cave and get a salt and the salt were big massive pieces of rock and I luckily filled half a big .In Pakistan my great granddad and granddad are like saints and I’m from a holy family and when people are sick they come to us and we have a cure for their sickness usually. What we do in Pakistan is when you have a bad cut you get yellow spice and mix it with oil and put it on the cut and it will defiantly heal .
